We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to assist with front desk responsibilities on a short-term contract basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position is ideal for someone who can efficiently manage daily administrative tasks and provide excellent customer service. The role requires strong communication skills and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and basic office software.
Responsibilities :
- Greet visitors and ensure they feel welcomed upon arrival.
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and direct them appropriately.
- Organize and maintain files and documents for easy accessibility.
- Schedule and confirm appointments as needed.
- Respond to email correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Perform accurate data entry tasks to update records and databases.
- Provide support for office operations, including managing supplies and equipment.
- Assist with creating and updating documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to operate and manage a multi-line phone system.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Effective interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
