POSITION OVERVIEW
Burn Brands is seeking an experienced and innovative Creative Manager to oversee the development and execution of creative content across all Burn Brands, including Burn Boot Camp, Burn Nutrition, Burn On Demand, Kids Camp, and related initiatives.
This role will lead Burn Creative, our internal creative agency that produces high-quality work for Burn Brands and, as we scale, will take on select external clients. The Creative Manager will lead videographers, graphic designers, photographers, and copywriters—ensuring cohesive storytelling, brand consistency, and content delivery in an agency-style environment that supports all revenue streams and campaigns.
This role operates within a Performance Marketing organization : deliver campaign creative end-to-end in partnership with Media / CRM / Web teams, using data to brief, iterate, and scale concepts that move funnel metrics (CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS).
The Creative Manager leans into analytics to drive data-informed content and creative—translating insights into hypotheses, creative variations, and rapid iterations that compound results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and manage the Burn Creative team, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and performance across all roles.Lead a performance-driven creative process and campaign executionFoster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence in an internal agency environment.Collaborate with marketing leadership to plan campaigns, initiatives, and content needs across social media, web, email, events, and print.Support the evolution of Burn Creative to take on new external clients while maintaining excellence for Burn Brands.Coach and upskill the team to adopt agile performance methodologies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retros ), increasing speed-to-learn and cross-functional adoption across the org.Creative Management
Oversee ideation, production, and delivery of photography, video, design, and copy.Ensure content aligns with timelines, budgets, and business objectives.Guide creative team members through briefs, reviews, and approvals.Build data-informed creative briefs that include clear hypotheses, target segments, insight sources, success metrics, and test matrices (A / B and multivariate).Develop creative systems (message frameworks, modular toolkits, templates) that accelerate iteration while preserving brand integrity across the funnel.Project & Resource Management
Manage workflows and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency and output.Establish and maintain a creative content calendar aligned with Burn Brands’ master calendar.Implement time tracking across all creative team projects to ensure accountability and workload balance.Track and report billable hours for both internal campaigns and external client projects.Provide regular progress updates and resource allocation reports to key stakeholders.Stand up agile boards (i.e., Wrike), manage WIP limits, and remove blockers to maintain predictable throughput.Quality Control
Review and approve creative assets to ensure they meet brand standards and campaign objectives.Uphold the integrity of Burn Brands’ identity across all content.Innovation and Trends
Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices to keep Burn Creative work fresh and competitive.Identify opportunities to elevate storytelling and engagement through emerging platforms, formats, and creative approaches.Own a prioritized experimentation roadmap (creative concepts, formats, hooks, landing treatments) with quarterly themes and monthly sprints.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
Billable Utilization Rate : % of total team hours tracked and billed appropriately.On-Time Project Delivery : % of projects delivered on or before deadline.Creative Quality : Internal client satisfaction scores on project delivery (measured via surveys / feedback).Brand Consistency : % of creative assets approved without revision for compliance to brand standards.Efficiency : Average turnaround time per project type (design, video, copy, etc.).Innovation : Number of new formats, platforms, or approaches tested and implemented annually.Contribution to performanceQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).5+ years of experience in content creation, management, or similar role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.Performance mindset : demonstrable experience turning analytics into content decisions and rapid iteration.Creative agency experience strongly preferred.Strong understanding of content production processes across video, photography, design, and copy.Proven leadership and project management skills; ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and project management platforms (Wrike, Asana, etc.), including time-tracking and resource management tools.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.Proven experience delivering campaign creative inside a Performance Marketing organization, partnering closely with Media / CRM / Web to hit growth KPIs.Demonstrated ability to turn insights into data-informed creative decisions : brief from insights, prioritize hypotheses, and scale winners.Hands-on familiarity with experimentation in major ad and marketing platforms (e.g., Meta / Google experiments, email / landing page A / B testing)Experience running creative sprints and backlogsExperience in fitness, wellness, lifestyle, or franchise branding a plus.This position description is not intended to be and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position.
