What You'll Do

As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you'll :

• Guiding Patients : Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with dressing / undressing, and ensure comfort and privacy
• Gathering Information : Accurately review patient registration details, collect necessary forms, and complete EMR intake documentation
• Coordinating Care : Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage medical clearances for surgeries
• Communication and Follow-Up : Manage patient callbacks regarding messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor and respond to physician queues
• DME Support : Demonstrate proper fitting and usage of durable medical equipment (DME) like braces and soft goods when needed
