Description :

Orientation is bi-weekly.

The facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission accredited.

Areas of care include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services.

The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients.

The unit has a patient ratio of 5 : 1 or 6 : 1.

Equipment available includes Welch Allyn V / S machines, Hoyer lifts with weight scales, Abbott glucometers, and Baxter IV pumps.

The electronic health record system used is Meditech.

Preferred skills include managing discharges and admissions and basic cardiac drip knowledge.

Common diagnoses treated include CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetes, CKD, and post-cardiac catheterization care.

Candidates should be team-oriented and flexible.

Required education is an associate degree, with a BSN preferred.

The dress code includes scrub attire, with no artificial nails allowed.

This position serves as a replacement for permanent staff.
