Primary Responsibilities :
Responsible for classroom and skills training for new driver applicants, retraining and remedial coaching sessions, andReview recorded events within a multi-platform event recorder systemScheduling drivers for training, event review and coaching sessionsAssist drivers with understanding and compliance with company policiesDrug and alcohol specimen collectionMonitor hours of service compliance via electronic and manual logging formatsResponsible for timely review, response, and reporting of recorded eventsPerform field audits on driver performance and compliance dutiesServe as a mentor and resource to drivers, coworkers, and the bus industryMinimum Requirements :
Commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B with P endorsementStrong audio / visual / electronics systems knowledgeAbility to communicate effectively with drivers, management and coworkersAbility to work independentlyFlexibility to travel throughout Rhode IslandAvailable to work occasional nights and weekendsPortray a professional appearanceExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to pass the International Motor Coach Group on-line training curriculum and other training certificationsExperience training driversAbility to write narrative reports, evaluations, and event summariesHave excellent computer and interpersonal skillsQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status and any other protected classes.
