Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Service Technician for our client. This job involves repair, test, and install equipment while providing exceptional support to customers. This role combines technical troubleshooting with administrative coordination to ensure smooth service operations and customer satisfaction.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Repair, modify, test, and install equipment.
- Handle day-to-day administrative requests in conjunction with customer requests.
- Maintain database pertinent information regarding key customers.
- Maintain Service Department call log.
- Enter service orders in database and ERP systems while collecting all necessary information.
- Complete reporting in a timely manner as needed.
- Handle personal travel arrangements for customer visits.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
Education and / or Experience : 2 year technical degree in electrical or mechanical technology, or equivalent, with 2 years job-related experience in an industrial environment.Must have PLC experience and working knowledge of computers, databases, and common software programs.Must understand Printed Circuit Boards and able to diagnose failure cause. Must be able to learn to use and adapt new software programs.Language Skills : Communicate verbally and / or in writing with other employees, other departments and supervision as to work in progress, problems and / or completion. Must be able to present information to groups of employees, customers, vendors etc.Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers.Calculate percentages and perform advanced mathematical procedures.Prepare graphs and charts for presentations.Be able to identify work process problems and possible solutions.Driver’s license and ability to travel overseas (obtain passport, etc).Sit at workstation for prolonged periods of time.Must be able to adjust visual focus.May be required to reach, stoop and / or bend on an as needed basis.Must be able to climb stairs as necessary.Some light lifting may be required. 20 – 30% Travel will be necessary.How to Apply And Next Steps?
