End Date : February 28, 2026

Duration : 10-week contract

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Hours per Week : 48 hours guaranteed

Employment Type : W2

On-Site Position

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Kentucky or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required; 5 years preferred

Previous travel nursing experience required

ACLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not already held)

NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not already held)

EKG proficiency required

TNCC certification preferred

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct, professional nursing care to critically ill patients (young adult, adult, elderly)

Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and ongoing patient evaluations

Manage airway (basic and advanced), pain, cardiac monitoring, and post-operative care

Administer medications, IV therapy, transfusions, and specialized IV drips / titration

Operate and maintain specialized critical care equipment

Respond to Code Blue situations and manage unit emergencies

Document patient histories, conditions, treatments, and responses accurately

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and involve patients / families in care planning

Supervise and mentor healthcare staff, including orienting new employees

Participate in performance improvement activities and ongoing professional development

Comply with infection control, safety, and hospital policies
