Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services to K-12 students within a dynamic school setting in Portales, NM. The role involves delivering tailored therapy to support communication skills, fostering academic success and social development throughout the school year.

Responsibilities include :

  • Conducting speech and language assessments for students
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications :

  • Valid New Mexico state licensure in Speech Language Pathology
  • New Mexico Department of Education Licensure in Speech Pathology
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday

  • Contract duration : August 4, 2025 June 6, 2026
  • Location : Portales, NM
  • Schedule : Full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days per week
