The inpatient medical unit provides high-quality care to a diverse patient population, emphasizing telemetry monitoring, acute medical management, and transitional care needs. The unit fosters a collaborative environment where team members are expected to manage patient care autonomously during off-shift hours. Beds : 23 bed critical access hospital, staff up to 18 beds Ratios : 1 : 6 Ideal candidate : -Experience in long-term care or progressive care -Proficiency in med / tele care -Competency in performing EKGs independently, IV placement, and lab draws -Ability to work with limited support during off shifts, managing the responsibilities typically shared among team resources
