Conduct technical accounting research and prepare documentation, including assessments of new GAAP or statutory reporting requirements.Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements.Demonstrate expertise in GAAP and statutory accounting principles.Create journal entries and supporting worksheets to validate and document account balances.Manage the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual filings to ensure compliance.Reconcile general ledger accounts with detailed accuracy.Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls to protect financial assets and ensure reliable financial reporting.Oversee both internal and external audit processes.Assist in preparing financial reports for review by executive leadership, regulatory agencies, auditors, financial institutions, and reinsurers.What are the requirements of this Senior Manager of Financial Reporting?
