Overview : The Neuro Step Down Unit is hiring a nurse Charge ( RN ) to join their dedicated team of high-performing nurses that provide exceptional patient care within their 29-bed unit. This unit is highly specialized neurology Step-Down, dedicated to the special care required for patients who are recovering from neurosurgery , or neurological injuries – to include psych patients. • Family Birthing Center : NRP and Fetal Monitoring; permanent charge requires ACLS in addition to others
• Pre-op / Operating Room / PACU : ACLS, PALS
• Oncology Chemotherapy certification Academic Preparation :
• Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO)
• Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire Specialty Certifications : Specialty Certifications in area of practice preferred Education : Essential :
