About The Position

Job Title : MRI Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : MRI Tech Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift : 11 : 30 AM - 10 : 00 PM Experience : Minimum of 1 year required License : Required National Certification Certifications : BLS, MR (ARRT) Must-Have : Siemens experience Description : The position is for an MRI Tech. Daily caseload per tech varies and includes inpatient, ER, and outpatient cases. The shift will be four 10-hour days from 11 : 30 AM to 10 : 00 PM, Monday through Thursday. On-call is not required. Clinicians may float within the scope of their duties to other facilities as needed. Experience with Siemens equipment is a requirement. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. No radiation badge is required. There is a radius rule of 60 miles in effect. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All time off requests must be included at the time of submission. Approval for time off will be based on the needs of the manager or unit. The facility permits the cancellation of one shift every two weeks. This is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Scrub colors required are teal tops and black bottoms. Charting will be done using an electronic medical record system. Candidates should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Modules will be non-billable, and an average of four hours will be spent completing them.
