LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Hamilton, NJ. We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in a temp-to-perm capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience in
Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
Accounting Clerk (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Hamilton, NJ (Onsite, Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour
Key Responsibilities: - Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
- Prepare and execute check runs and electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to AP
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Support other accounting functions as needed
Qualifications: - 1-2 years of accounting experience, with a focus on AP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal interactions
