ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Franklin, North Carolina.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PCU

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Every other weekend minimum requirement
  • ICU or Step Down / Progressive Care experience required
  • At least 1 travel assignment prior required
  • ICU experience preferred
  • Patient ratios : Med Surg 6 : 1 occasionally 7 : 1, ICU (typically more step down than ICU patients) 4 : 1
  • Work with 30-bed unit on floor 2
  • Float to emergency department as needed
  • Required certifications : ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
  • EMR system : Cerner
  • Dress code : Navy blue scrubs required
  • Typical procedures include thoracentesis, ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and dressing changes
  • Must demonstrate outgoing personality and strong teamwork skills
  • Work alongside 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs per shift

    This brand new 30-bed critical access hospital features three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays. The state-of-the-art facility provides larger, more spacious patient rooms designed for patient comfort and offers comprehensive outpatient services including wound clinic, full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and rehabilitation therapies. The facility has received prestigious recognitions including Acute Stroke Ready hospital designation and multiple awards from the Joint Commission, American Heart Association, and American Stroke Association for excellence in stroke and diabetes care.
