About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Technician

Profession : Ultrasound Technician

Specialty : Ultrasound Tech RVT Certified

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (6 : 30 PM - 5 : 00 AM, Monday through Thursday)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience required

License : RDMS with RVT required

Certifications : ARDMS certifications in AB, OB / GYN, and RVT

Must-Have :

Proficiency in general abdominal ultrasound

Experience in ruling out Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

Experience in ruling out Ectopic pregnancies

Competency in Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound units

Description :

The imaging department includes three procedure rooms and four imaging rooms.

It supports a team of radiologists providing a variety of imaging services.

Most assignments will be with other sonographers in the same location.

Cases will vary based on the assigned location and bench.

Proficiency in additional limited vascular, OB / GYN, neonatal head, breast, and prostate competencies is beneficial.

Experience supporting invasive procedures, such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages, is a significant value add.

Scrubs or lab coats in black, teal, or white are required for the position.
