About the Role :

A growing behavioral health practice is seeking a compassionate, evidence-based

Clinical Psychologist

to join our outpatient team. This hybrid role allows for the flexibility of working remotely while providing in-person patient care

once a week

at our Bronx location. You will provide behavioral health services to patients, including those covered under

Medicare and Medicaid , and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients referred by Primary Care Providers using evidence-based tools.

Provide treatment for behavioral health conditions using approaches such as

CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Behavioral Activation , and crisis intervention.

Make treatment recommendations and refer patients to psychiatrists when appropriate.

Monitor client progress through clinical documentation and coordinate care with other healthcare providers and health home teams.

Provide crisis intervention services and perform risk assessments as needed.

Engage clients who have limited utilization of behavioral health services through outreach efforts.

Document all services accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications :

Doctoral Degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (Ph.D. / PsyD).

Current New York State registration as a psychologist.

Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Bilingual Spanish / English is a plus but not required.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
