Job Title : Medical Office Coordinator

Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Office Coordinator at a busy urology office where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with insurance verifications to ensure coverage for patient services.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Experience with electronic health records, particularly EPIC.
  • Strong scheduling skills for managing patient appointments.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Active RN License in the state of CT is preferred.
  • Experience in cardiology is an advantage.
  • Work Environment

    This is a moderately busy urology office with a team of 3 full-time providers and 2 part-time providers. Patients are typically seen every 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the provider. The office is known for its friendly and team-oriented atmosphere. The position follows a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, Connecticut.

    Pay And Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $47.00 / hr.
