Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will lead the successful execution of HVAC and sheet metal projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate internal and external resources, manage timelines, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Planning and Coordination :
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with HVAC and sheet metal industry standards.
  • Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure flawless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and milestones.
  • Stakeholder Communication :
  • Lead regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress, challenges, and changes.
  • Foster clear communication with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Project Management and Execution :
  • Supervise and guide project team members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Implement change control processes to manage modifications in project scope, schedule, or costs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
  • Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution :
  • Proactively resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Adjust project plans as necessary to meet goals and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
  • Compliance and Quality Control :
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, HVAC and sheet metal construction standards, and all relevant codes and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and quality, making adjustments as needed to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Technical Proficiency :
  • Proficient in requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC and sheet metal construction principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with change proposal / order processes and project management software.
  • Leadership and Communication :
  • Ability to supervise and lead project teams effectively.
  • Strong conflict management skills, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills :
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and scope management abilities to keep projects on track.
  • Competence in project scheduling and timeline management.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the HVAC and sheet metal construction industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Proven track record of managing HVAC and sheet metal projects from start to finish.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Dexterity to operate project management tools and office equipment.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed for site inspections.
  • Visual acuity to read blueprints, schematics, and other project documentation.
