Role Description : Pay Commission Base

Responsibilities :

  • Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
  • Administer anesthetics and sedatives to patients as necessary
  • Conduct dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown placements
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and CT scans
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and patient records
  • Stay informed about advancements in dentistry and new treatment techniques

Requirements :

  • Valid state dental license
  • Graduation from an accredited dental school
  • Proficiency in medical coding and documentation
  • Knowledge of dental software systems such as CAD, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

    • Vital signs monitoring may be required for certain procedures or patients.

    Qualifications

  • Proficient in dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
  • Skilled in performing dental procedures including fillings, crowns, root canals, and extractions
  • Effective patient communication and education skills
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of New York
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with dental software and technology is a plus
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
