Building Automation Engineer

Position Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Building Automation Engineer / Technician with hands-on experience in Niagara and Ignition platforms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building automation systems.

You will also play a critical role in energy auditing and designing energy-efficient solutions that align with ASHRAE standards.

Project management experience is essential to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • On-Site Implementation : Execute installations, configurations, and troubleshooting of building automation systems at various client locations.
  • System Integration : Work with Niagara and Ignition platforms to ensure effective integration and functionality of automation systems.
  • Energy Auditing : Conduct thorough energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings and improved system performance.
  • Design & Analysis : Develop energy-efficient designs and solutions in accordance with ASHRAE standards.
  • Project Management : Oversee and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet technical, financial, and timeline goals.
  • Client Interaction : Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and offer expert advice on building automation solutions.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Proven experience with Niagara and Ignition platforms; familiarity with ASHRAE standards; background in project management.
  • Technical Skills : Strong understanding of building automation systems, energy auditing techniques, and system design principles.
  • Certifications : Relevant certifications in building automation or energy auditing are a plus.
  • Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Travel : Willingness to travel to various client sites as needed.
