Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Kalamazoo, Michigan (49048) - Michigan nursing jobs Unit : 3N Cardiovascular Unit - Cardiac Telemetry Assignment Type : Travel ICU RN Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shifts : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed) Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Must work 2 out of 3 holidays Float : May float to similar units or affiliate hospitals Scrub Color : Caribbean Blue Charting System : Cerner Powerchart Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1770 - $1820 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent ICU Registered Nurse experience (Cardiac Telemetry preferred) Active RN license (Michigan or compact state, or willing to obtain) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (pending certifications accepted) Experience with Cerner charting system Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Ability to complete up to 8 hours of onboarding modules prior to start Strong professional conduct and reliability ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions : heart failure, STEMI / NSTEMI, stroke, arrhythmias, and chest pain Monitor patients on cardiac telemetry and manage cardiac drips (no titration required) Perform blood product administration, central line care, IV starts, wound care, and tracheostomy management Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response Float to similar units or affiliate hospitals as needed Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner Powerchart Uphold strict standards of professionalism and patient safety Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Kalamazoo, Michigan!
