CDL-A Driver Position

For more than 30 years, our client has been dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and the best inventory selection in the flooring industry. With their hundreds of flooring options and large variety of supplies and equipment in stock at all times, they have the hardwood floor materials you need to complete any size project, from 100 to 1 million square feet.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL-A Driver to join our team in Danbury, CT, supporting the distribution of hardwood flooring materials across NY, NJ, CT, and PA. This role involves transporting wood pallets and requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. Piggyback forklift experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL-A license, relevant driving experience, and strong organizational skills, with a commitment to safety and efficiency.

$26.00 - $32.00USD / Hour

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport pallets of wood to various locations
• Load and unload materials using a piggyback forklift (preferred experience)
• Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accurate logs and documentation
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today's market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
