Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to support complex production and warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, assembly, and inventory control. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure product accuracy and compliance while promoting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor team members on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure product accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Operate and maintain warehouse systems for inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and reporting.
• Coordinate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet production goals and resolve material or workflow issues.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices and assist with cycle counts and audits.
• Promote and uphold a safe work environment through regular safety checks and participation in training.

Work Environment

The role operates within a manufacturing and warehouse setting, involving the use of advanced technologies such as SAP and WMS. Employees are expected to follow safety protocols and engage in regular safety training. The position requires physical endurance, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

This is a Contract position based out of La Vergne, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50 / hr.
