Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate each emergency call situation swiftly and determine the appropriate response, utilizing our progressive Paramedic protocols.
Employ your Paramedic skills with medical equipment and procedures to deliver advanced medical care, including using a defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
Provide clear communication to patients and their families to reassure them that they are receiving the best possible care.
Lead as the Paramedic team coordinator, taking charge of scene and unit management as necessary.
Safely drive the ambulance in response to 911 emergencies.
Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, along with fellow Paramedics, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Engage in community outreach programs to strengthen AMR's presence and build lasting community relationships.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Valid State Paramedic License.
Valid State Driver's License.
Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
Driving record that complies with company policy.
Successfully pass a Physical Agility Test.
Some relevant work experience in healthcare preferred.
