Crossroads- Civil / Mechanical Equipment Operator (Eligible to drive)

Responsibilities include safety-focused operation and support of equipment on industrial construction sites and fabrication shops.

Responsibilities

• Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
• Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
• Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and stop unsafe work practices when observed.
• Mobilization and demobilization of equipment, including loading, unloading, securing, setup and tear down.
• Ensure that all equipment, vehicles, and tools are properly accounted for and maintained.
• Serve as a backup to other positions as directed by management.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds daily.
• Operate motorized equipment and perform procedures safely to prevent injuries.
• Work in environments with drafts, noise, temperature variation, or similar discomforts.
• Proofread and check documents for accuracy and enter data as required.
• Comply with the company's drug and alcohol policy and pass required physical examinations.
• Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights and in confined spaces as needed.
