Job Description : Operations Business Analyst (Automation Focus)

• Role Overview
• : Support operations business lines by gathering and documenting requirements for automation solutions, acting as a liaison between business partners and development teams. Drive measurable improvements in efficiency and compliance through automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Elicit and document business requirements for automation projects, ensuring alignment with compliance and operational goals.

Communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization, including upper management and business line partners.

Prepare templates, use cases, and process diagrams; organize and document handoffs between teams.

Champion change management and adoption of automation solutions

Manage multiple products simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of requirements to keep development teams engaged.

Partner with development teams to clarify requirements and manage delivery timelines.

Preferred Skills :

Strong written and verbal communication.

Business analysis experience; familiarity with technology product lifecycle.

Analytical mindset; inquisitive and curious approach to problem-solving.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

Experience with automation platforms (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Eight or more years of direct experience with project management responsibilities

Preferred Skills / Experience

Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations

CBAP, CCBA, or RPA-related certifications

Experience in financial services or operations environments

Basic knowledge of API integrations and data visualization.

Strong understanding and use of project management techniques and testing processes and supervises their use

Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results

Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

Strong project management, organization and analytical skills

Effective interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills

Effective leadership and negotiation skills

In-depth knowledge of a business line or function area

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range : $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
