Coordinator Financial Revenue Management

Responsible for coordinating the global billing process for all solid organ and stem cell transplants including ensuring that encounters are processing at the required contractual rates; responsible for institutional and referred testing billing and payables; responsible to ensure all other billing vendors payables (UAB Physicians, AOC, Liver Biopsy, Radiation Therapy, HLA Testing) are paid timely; responsible for various AR functions to include but not limited to CCI Edits, Medicare Dialysis billing and various payers for reimbursement

• Education

Bachelor's degree desired or a minimum of 5 years or more experience in a healthcare organization or insurance company setting may substitute for a degree.

• Experience

Knowledge of payer rules, regulations and policies a plus; transplant billing preferred

• Licensures, Certifications, and / or Registries

Certified Professional Coder preferred
