What You'll Do :

As a Meat Assistant Manager at Festival Foods, you will :

• Support the Meat Department Manager : lead daily operations in their absence and step in as needed.
• Create a positive work environment : training, mentoring, and developing associates.
• Grow the team : collaborate with the Meat Department Manager to write and conduct performance reviews, and conduct corrective action as appropriate.
• Keep our meat department running smoothly : lead by example, maintain proper stock levels, and ensure accurate pricing and merchandising.
• Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service : help them find what they need, provide expert advice on meat selection and preparation, and resolve any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace : in compliance with company standards.
• Monitor sales and inventory : to maximize department profitability.
• Collaborate with meat and store leadership teams : Work closely with the Store Director, Meat Director, Training & Execution Specialists, and other department managers to exceed expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absence.
