A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - Urology Job Details : - Work as a clinic RN maintaining clinic flow for patients and providers in urology clinic - Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments and procedures - Maintain responsibility for patient medical record documentation - Collect and prepare specimens as needed - Administer medications as ordered by providers - Graduate of accredited RN program required - Current Iowa nursing license required - 3 years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care setting preferred - Acute care and / or Home Health nursing experience for cardiac or diabetic patients preferred - Prior phone triage, ER triage, or MD office triage experience preferred - Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required or must certify within 3 months - Must demonstrate superior nursing process skills and patient service focus - Ability to work effectively under pressure with minimum supervision - Strong telephone communication and customer service skills required - Basic PC skills and Windows Operating Systems proficiency needed - Must be organized, able to set priorities, and work well as team member Facility : This regional healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services to the community, including specialized urology clinic services.
