Travel Med Surg LPN / LVN – Roswell, NM

A facility in Roswell, NM is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) for a 13-week travel assignment.

Assignment Details : Start Date : 12 / 1

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights, 7 : 00pm–7 : 30am

Schedule : Every other weekend required

Floating : Required (rarely; may occasionally float to ICU for Med Surg overflow or Stepdown patients)

On Call : Not required

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience

Active LPN / LVN license in good standing

BLS and IV certification required

ACLS preferred

Scope of Role :

The Med Surg LPN / LVN provides delegated aspects of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include physical assessments, ADLs, medication administration, IV therapy, patient education, and documentation. The LPN / LVN uses critical thinking and clinical judgment to support safe, effective care delivery and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
