The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Data Engineer to work in Honolulu, HI. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the INDOPACOM J2 JIOC mission. The primary location for this effort is at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. Other possible locations are : Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; and Ft. Worth, TX.

Data Engineer Responsibilities :

• Conducting data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis to transform data into narrative products for informed decision-making.
• Building AI and ML-based tools to automate processes, such as recommendation engines and lead scoring systems.
• Designing and operating data management systems, collaborating with data users to optimize architectures and systems.
• Selecting and configuring backend database technologies and optimizing data pipeline infrastructure for intelligence needs.
• Implementing automated processes for integrating various datasets, conducting scalable data research, and developing scripts to handle data efficiently.
• Collaborating with collection managers and computer scientists to design new data processes and generate algorithms for automated collection strategies.
• Evaluating collection criteria and recommending data integration solutions to support the Tasking, Collection, Production, Exploitation, and Dissemination process.
• Participating in briefings, meetings, conferences, and working groups to provide advice and resolve issues as requested by the Government.
