Software Engineer - Device Connectivity

A company is looking for a Software Engineer III, Device Connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

Advance the connectivity stack, including modem firmware, cellular drivers, and networking layer

Ensure reliable network connections in challenging environments while optimizing power consumption

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions

Required Qualifications

Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of embedded software development experience

Deep expertise in embedded Linux or Android systems, particularly in networking and power management

Hands-on experience with cellular connectivity stacks and associated protocols (LTE / 5G)

Familiarity with low-level communication protocols and networking technologies

Experience with Qualcomm chipsets and a systems-thinking approach to problem-solving
