Job Title : Spare Parts Projects Support Coordinator

Type : Contract

Location : Pearland, TX

The Spare Parts Projects Support Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the Spare part project

specialists for the execution of all phases of a project. The Spare Parts Coordinator is responsible for Part

Number creation and maintenance, MRP Management and purchase requisition creation. This role

involves collaborating closely with internal departments and providing essential engineering support

that includes creation of bill of materials (BOM), drawing, specifications as instructed by the project

specialist.

Roles & Responsibilities

Foster an environment of teamwork, compliance, and continual improvement
Adhere to the Company's objectives, i.e. Safety, Quality, Environmental and Information

Security

Ensure compliance with the department’s standard procedures

Creation of SAP part numbers and purchase requisitions for the purchase of materials released

by the Spare part project specialists

Monitor the release of bills of materials on a regular basis and maintain targeted goal of lead-

time from bill of material release to creation of purchase requisitions

Create Purchase requisition SAP system

Create Bill of Materials (BOM) in Teamcenter

Ensure QA / QC requirements are accurately reflected in SAP

Convert request for quotation (RFQ) to BOM including drawing, specification, alternative

material for spare part business unit

Assist in improving on time delivery (OTD) through weekly follow up with the team

Resolve ongoing part delivery or lead time issues to prevent any impact on the OTD as needed

by the Spare Part project Specialist

Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or

Requirements

Proficient in SAP

Relevant experience in turbomachinery (Steam Turbine and Compressor) is essential

Proficient written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency MS Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)

Ability to meet deadline constantly and consistently

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Self-motivated with ability multi-task under minimal supervision

Basic knowledge of Incoterms

Teamcenter knowledge is a plus
