Overview

An industrial automation firm is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, implement, and support control systems for industrial processes and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a stable work history, and hands-on experience with PLCs, DCS, HMI / SCADA, and instrumentation. This role may include acting as a technical lead or project manager on smaller projects and requires strong problem-solving and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support industrial control systems.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, DCS, RTUs, and HMI / SCADA systems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, schematics, and databases.
• Participate in commissioning, check-out, and troubleshooting at client facilities.
• Serve as a technical contributor or lead on projects, mentoring junior engineers as needed.

Must Have Qualifications

PLC hardware / software (Rockwell Automation).
