Construction Project Manager (Waukegan)

Position : Project Manager Greenfield Pharmaceutical / Regulated Industries

Location : Waukegan, IL (Up to 50% Travel Across the Midwest)

Duration : 36+ Months

I am looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a major multi-year capital program within the pharmaceutical, cGMP, and FDA-regulated sector . This is an impactful opportunity to lead large-scale Greenfield construction projects ($10M$500M) from concept through commissioning.

This position requires strong onsite leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to oversee complex technical programs in regulated environments.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage Greenfield capital projects from initiation through commissioning and turnover
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and internal quality standards
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, facilities, EHS, and external contractors
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, workflow schedules, and construction plans
• Identify and mitigate project risks early to maintain budget and schedule
• Communicate updates and milestones to senior leadership and key stakeholders
• Travel up to 50% across the U.S. Midwest to support onsite execution
