Job Summary
The Security Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial security systems to ensure the safety and protection of people, property, and assets. This role involves working with technologies such as access control systems, CCTV, alarms, and related hardware in commercial environments. Travel will be required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure security equipment including alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of all security systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with security systems promptly.
Collaborate with clients or internal teams to assess security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and inventory.
Respond to urgent security system failures or alarms and provide immediate corrective action.
