James A. Garfield High School’s technology students are offering tech support to local senior citizens as a community initiative. They assist with smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Event details
The final tech support event of the school year will take place on April 8 from 12 : 30 PM to 2 : 00 PM at the Garrettsville Library. Seniors will receive one-on-one assistance to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and learn to use their devices more effectively.

Impact
The initiative has been well received by the community, with many seniors expressing gratitude for patient and friendly assistance. Participants learn to send emails, set up video calls with family, or manage apps to gain digital independence.
