Key Responsibilities :
- Perform daily accounting functions including accounts receivable and accounts payable processing.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to recurring and adjusting transactions.
- Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage and update customer portals with required documentation, invoices, and reporting details.
- Assist with cash applications, customer payments, and vendor invoice management.
- Support inventory accounting and reconciliation, if applicable to production or manufacturing activities.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and management to ensure proper accounting of costs, revenue, and expenses.
- Provide assistance with audit requests and other ad hoc reporting.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function.
Requirements
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Working knowledge of AR / AP processes, month-end close procedures, and general ledger accounting.Proficiency in ERP / accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.Preferred Skills
Experience with customer / vendor portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, or OEM-specific systems).Familiarity with inventory or cost accounting concepts.Prior experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system a plusBenefits
