Quality Assurance Lead

This role will play a key part in maintaining and improving our quality standards.
This is an onsite role in our Mt Juliet TN facility with a schedule of Friday-Sunday, 5AM-5 : 30PM.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Conducting inspections and audits of electronic devices in strict compliance with established procedures
- Creating and maintaining work instructions in collaboration with the documentation team and Quality Supervisor
- Training new and existing employees on 6S principles and work instructions
- Leading weekly department status meetings and providing SIPOC training
- Tracking and reporting weekly tasks and quality metrics
- Delivering ANSI / AQL results to external customers
- Establishing and evolving formal QA processes using industry best practices
- Overseeing all aspects of QA, including metrics, tools, and process improvements
- Acting as the primary QA contact for product releases and coordinating internal and external QA resources
- Mentoring QA team members and managing contract testers
- Developing and executing manual and automated test plans and procedures
- Entering inspection results and relevant data into our database
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and team-building efforts
- Maintaining strong working relationships across departments
- Performing other duties as assigned
What are the requirements needed for this position?
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of quality assurance experienceCross-training in two or more job areasAbility to become a certified trainer in multiple areasStrong understanding of workflow and process managementProficiency with basic computer software and data entryAbility to work independently and lead othersWhat other skills / experience would be helpful to have?
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment1+ years of experience in QA / inspection rolesExperience with verbatim procedure complianceFamiliarity with basic electronic test equipmentStrong attention to detail and multitasking skillsAbility to thrive in both independent and team settingsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsPay Range : $18.65 - $29.84
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
