Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience in a hospital setting

Active Wisconsin RN license or multi-state Registered Nurse license (required)

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association; required)

TNCC certification preferred

Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the Nursing Process

Demonstrate leadership in planning and ensuring safe delivery of care

Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training

Delegate patient care tasks based on staff education and experience

Supervise and guide assigned personnel in patient care delivery

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act
