ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Highlands, North Carolina.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work variable shifts in a 24-bed acute care unit

    • \n

  • Required schedule : three 12-hour shifts per week

    • \n

  • Patient ratios of 6-7 : 1

    • \n

  • Floating policy : rarely required

    • \n

  • Must have geriatric care or inpatient rehab experience with swing bed patients

    • \n

  • Advanced wound care skills needed

    • \n

  • Work with standard medical / surgical equipment

    • \n

  • Use Cerner documentation system

    • \n

  • Perform minor procedures on the unit

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS

    • \n

  • Preferred certifications : ACLS, CPI

    • \n

  • Dress code : All navy scrubs or navy top with white bottoms

    • \n

  • Patient experience requirements : provide concierge-level service to affluent community

    • \n

  • Unit staffing includes no health unit coordinator, tech, or extra RN when tech is unavailable

    • \n

  • Excellent culture and teamwork environment
