About the Position
- Supervise and direct nursing staff on assigned shifts to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Provide hands-on clinical support and guidance to nurses and CNAs.
- Conduct resident assessments, monitor care plans, and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the healthcare team regarding resident status.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff through infection control and safety practices.
- Support performance improvement initiatives and participate in staff training and evaluations.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes teamwork and resident satisfaction.

Job Requirements
Minimum Experience : 1+ year of experience as an RN (Long Term Care required).Licensure : Active New York State RN License (required).Certifications :BLS (Basic Life Support) – RequiredEducation : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).Technical Skills :Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) or similar EMR systems preferred.Competencies :Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to long-term careAbout Job.com
