Job description
  • The Quality Assurance Field Representative is responsible for the coordination of all product issues between Kasai NA and the assigned customer. He / she acts as an on-site liaison and oversees all efforts to correct nonconformities in product and / or service as improvements in product and / or service. Typical interaction is with the assigned customer personnel and Quality Assurance Engineering and Production Management.
  • Responsibilities :
  • Coordinates all product / service issues at the customer site to achieve Top Supplier Status.
  • Document all concerns, instructions, requests, etc. relating to the coordination of customer / Kasai improvement efforts.
  • Interact with external customers and internal customers.
  • Meets quality and quantity levels of assigned work, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
  • Coordinate rejected material movement between Kasai NA and assigned customers
  • Generate reports, graphs, and charts as needed.
  • Oversees data collection and interpretation to coordinate improvement efforts.
  • Verify the accuracy of all documentation.

    • Monitor and enforce ISO / TS16949 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures.

    • Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures
    • Education :
    • High School Diploma or GED

      • 6. Experience :

    • 2 or more years of manufacturing experience.

      • 7. Skills :

    • Above average mathematical skills, written skills, and verbal skills.
    • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
    • Computer literate
    • Capable of overall professionalism in a business environment
    • Capable of using basic measurements devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators and etc.

      • Must have the ability to judge color visually and must pass the Farnsworth - Muncell 100 Hue test yearly & pass test with a minimum score of 50

      8. Training Specific to Position :

    • Documented training in internal or lead auditing to any of the standards listed above.

      • 9. Other :

      Ability to travel for extended periods of time with limited prior notice.

      Must be able to work any assigned shift.
