• Test Strategy Development : Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies for vehicle systems, ensuring they are testable and meet requirements.
• Test Execution : Lead and coordinate the execution of various tests, which can include in-vehicle testing, simulation, and automated testing, often across multiple locations.
• Issue Management : Report defects, perform root cause analysis, and track issues to closure to ensure software and hardware changes are validated.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with different engineering teams, suppliers, and program management to resolve issues and integrate systems effectively.
• Reporting & Documentation : Maintain the overall verification and validation (V&V) status, present updates to stakeholders, and prepare test reports for releases.
• Team and Budget Management : Manage tasks, lead the test team, and oversee the budget for project-related test equipment.
