Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Sports and Fitness Director and as a member of the Health, Sports, Fitness and Aquatics Team, the Massage Therapist at the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center (APJCC) is responsible for successfully implementing member engagement initiatives that align with the core values of the organization. This position serves as a vital role in engaging and retaining members and facilitating a safe and welcoming environment that inspires members to achieve their health and fitness goals.
All employees of the APJCC are responsible for creating relationships with the members to add valuetotheir membership and enhance their sense ofbelonging with the APJCC community.

Education / Special Licenses
CPR / AED certifiedMinimum of :500 hours of training from an accredited massage school
City / State permit as required by the town of Los Gatos and or California state certificationsExperience
Minimum of 1 years of experience in this or a related fieldWorking Conditions
Fitness Center / Community Center environmentWork involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperaturesAbility to lift a minimum of 45 poundsAbility to stand, walk, properly implement massage techniques for table and chair massage and assisted stretchingThis position is contingent upon completion and clearance of a background fingerprint assessment. California Law requires all individuals over the age of 18 to undergo a fingerprint background check for anyone working with or around children.
