What this job involves :

The Amer Sourcing Director leads commodity sourcing strategies across North and South America, managing a team of sourcing professionals to deliver transformative procurement solutions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, developing category plans, negotiating contracts, and driving cost efficiencies for JLL's facility and project management services. You'll collaborate with global sourcing teams and directly impact client satisfaction through innovative supplier relationships and operational excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like :

• Manage and mentor a team of sourcing professionals across all sourcing activities and initiatives
• Develop comprehensive category plans with spend visibility, supplier summaries, and market insights
• Lead RFP / bid processes, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management
• Coordinate with global regional Sourcing Leads to ensure program continuity and standardized reporting
• Conduct supplier performance reviews, manage scorecards, and ensure contract compliance
• Analyze price proposals and financial data to determine optimal pricing structures
• Partner with operations teams to support daily sourcing and supply chain activities

Estimated compensation for this position : $132,200.00 - $185,000.00 USD per year. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
