Responsibilities

  • Use your customer service skills to assist the public.
  • Ensure that all sales are made only to customers 21 and over.
  • Perform cashiering duties.
  • Assist in receiving and storing merchandise.
  • Mark and display product for sale.
  • Contribute to the department's service-focused mission by providing superior customer service.
  • Assist in managing store operations in the absence of the manager or assistant manager, including opening and closing the store.

Minimum Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Able to provide excellent customer service.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Preference(s) : Preference may be given to current employees of the Alcoholic Beverage

    DABS stores are closed on Sundays and all state and federal holidays.

    Responsibilities

  • Processes transactions at a cash register, gives correct change, and closes till at end of shift.
  • Assists customers in finding products, making selections, and purchasing items.
  • Screens for intoxication, checks identification, and watches for shoplifters.
  • Conducts regular and / or spot check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.
  • Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available. Orders, receives, inspects, and stores equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and / or supplies.
  • Receives and fills liquor orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required.
  • Maintains building(s) and / or facilities in a clean and orderly condition and / or removes snow from sidewalks and doorways, etc.
  • Receives shipments and coordinates handling and storage.

  • Physical Requirements.
  • Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and / or for long periods of time.
