The Senior Business Analyst supports EDFs project management ecosystem by serving as an Asana subject matter expert, driving tool adoption, and delivering training and documentation that empower staff to achieve project success.
This hybrid role is based in New?York or San?Francisco, requiring office attendance two (2) days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve the Asana training program for staff at all experience levels.
- Provide proactive, hands?on support to staff, resolving complex Asana issues and ensuring effective adoption.
- Create, maintain, and update comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides and training materials.
- Classify, prioritize, triage, and respond to day?to?day Asana inquiries via Asana and Zendesk, recommending solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Liaise with Asana Customer Service and IT to resolve technical issues and integrate Asana into EDFs technology ecosystem.
- Research, monitor, and incorporate Asana updates, communicating changes to staff and ensuring seamless adoption.
- Partner with cross?functional teams to document business processes and workflows, developing technical solutions that align with business needs.
- Analyze Asana usage, providing feedback and recommendations to enhance adoption, efficiency, and utilization.
- Participate in advancing EDFs organizational effectiveness and culture goals, fostering inclusion, empowerment, and connection across the organization.
- Additional relevant responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
4+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree required; a Masters degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.2+ years of software implementation, training, and technical support experience required.2+ years of experience with Asana or comparable project management software required.Demonstrated experience developing and leading software training and writing technical documentation.Experience providing tailored solutions for workflows, dashboards, and project management cases for large teams.Solid understanding and experience with project management practices and / or project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar).Experience triaging and prioritizing tickets in a fast?paced IT environment.Strong technical background, including experience with software integrations.Excellent research and analysis abilities.Strong problem?solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the capacity to independently analyze information and evaluate solutions from a range of alternatives.Experience working with environmental or nonprofit organizations preferred.Proactive, responsive, attentive to detail, and adaptable.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex subject matter effectively to various stakeholders.Strong customer service focus and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non?technical audiences.Demonstrated self?awareness, cultural competency, inclusivity, and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across all cultures and backgrounds.Works well independently as well as collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across multiple time zones.We offer a strong total rewards package encompassing competitive salary, robust benefits, and professional development opportunities consistent with a modern global organization.
