Controller / Business Office Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Controller / Business Office Manager to oversee financial operations and administrative functions. This role is based in North Dallas, Texas, and requires someone who can effectively manage accounting, budgeting, HR, and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills to ensure the smooth functioning of business processes.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
- Oversee all accounting processes, including bank reconciliations, payroll, taxes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, audits, and financial reporting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for various departments, including marketing, sales, and inventory, while ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Manage human resources functions, such as onboarding, benefits administration, compliance with state regulations, and maintaining job descriptions.
- Coordinate IT and technology-related needs to support business operations and improve efficiency.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of facilities and equipment, addressing any issues promptly.
- Provide training to the accounting team on organizational processes and best practices to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with leadership on financial forecasting, modeling, and strategic planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements :
Proven experience in accounting, financial management, and office administration roles.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a team effectively.Proficiency in handling financial processes, including payroll, taxes, bank reconciliations, and audits.Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.Familiarity with HR functions, including compliance, benefits administration, and employee onboarding.Solid understanding of IT systems and their role in business operations.Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation in alignment with legal and company standards.
