Key Responsibilities :
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including EPC contracts, master service agreements, purchase and sale agreements, parent guarantees, and surety instruments.Advise leadership on contract risks and mitigation strategies during bid reviews and project execution.Support post-award legal matters including claims development (delay, disruption, force majeure, etc.) and contract interpretation.Assist with vendor negotiations and ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.Deliver legal training and guidance to internal teams across operations, finance, supply chain, and insurance.Ideal Candidate Profile :
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with at least 4+ years of relevant experience.Strong background in transactional law within the power generation and construction industries.Proven success negotiating complex agreements and managing legal risk in engineering or construction environments.Experience with claims development and change management is highly preferred.In-house counsel experience within a construction or engineering firm is a plus.Working knowledge of insurance and intellectual property law is beneficial.Skills That Set You Apart :
